With a legacy of 70 years, our design team took on the arduous task of crafting a brand that celebrated both the organization’s awarded past and promising future.
Magazine cover nameplates from 1957 to 2024
Months of exploration began with our team canvasing a wide range of options. This ultimately led to a refresh of the logo introduced in 1963 by ad-man Harvey Gabor.
I began experimenting with a variety of typefaces that captured the unique details and character of the original 1963 logo. In the end, the typeface Darby from Commercial Type was the perfect foundation for a timeless marriage of classic and modern.
